Okay, I am having a bit of a problem. Google mail servers need SMTP authentication, but when I put it as value "1" my theme starts acting up, when I am sending the email for the invoice or whatever from the clients/invoices/etc sections. It'll show like "background=#FFFFF00" or whatever, and it's the default skin.
Let me know. |

phpCOIN v1.6.6 Development Snapshot
Unable to replicate using authenticated SMTP to a standard server There was a lively discussion regarding Gmail some time ago on this thread http://forums.phpcoin.com/index.php?showtopic=2704&hl= I have no idea if things have changed but, back then, connecting to Gmail was a non-starter and we have not changed anything in the code related to the mail functions. -------------------- ***** Unless otherwise stated, all replies refer to the following *****
==================================================================== --- The latest unmodified version of phpCOIN available from the phpCOIN download page on the date and time of this post. --- All relevant fix files applied - One of the four included unmodified themes - The original language files . --- Help will be given to install/configure/use phpCOIN, but not programming help to modify phpCOIN operations. If you are competent enough to make programming changes, you should be competent enough to read the source code and figure things out :) |
