Since we have seen a total lack of support from phpCOIN users in helping us, and each-other, we decided to temporally suspend all the phpCOIN sites until we could see a way forward to keep the project running whilst not taking too much time away from getting on and earning a living.

In order to maintain the project and it's web resources we have decided to implement a new policy with regard to support.

As from today, the ONLY support requests that will be addressed by developers will be those regarding bugs or security related questions.

It is now up to the phpCOIN users (there ARE an estimated 300,000 of you out there !!) to give back something to the community by helping each other out by answering questions and giving newer users the benefit of your experience.

Surely it is not unreasonable to expect members of a FOSS community to contribute a few minutes a week back to a project that they are using to earn themselves money, and which they got for free in the first place ?

Pretty much everything that could be asked has already been covered in these forums or on the Docs site and users should make extensive use of the 'search' facilities that are provided.

If you want this project to keep going, it is up to YOU to help out.

====================================================================
--- The latest unmodified version of phpCOIN available from the phpCOIN download page on the date and time of this post.
--- All relevant HotFix files applied - One of the four included unmodified themes - The original language files .
--- Help will be given to install/configure/use phpCOIN, but not programming help to modify phpCOIN operations. If you are competent enough to make programming changes, you should be competent enough to read the source code and figure things out :)
