Hi, I have just started using phpCoin and am very pleased with it so far. However I was dissapointed with the fact that you can not add domain names to the invoice directly from the client side ordering. The reason for this is explained in the documentation:
This is very true as I came upon this problem some years back, however I simply overcame this issue by simply passing the invoice id and a general description to the vendor (paypal) with the invoices full amount regardless of how many items were actually on the invoice. This maybe this is the soloution phpCoin needs in some future release to allow seporate items on a single invoice to be passed to third party payment systems. This would allow clients to order multiple domains/hosting which could be paid for immediately and still show up as multiple items on the actual invoice. Maybe I am overlooking something here but this seems a simple soloution which would allow phpCoin to become more flexible in the future. Kind Regards Garry |

You would have to create multiple packages eg
Hosting $x Hosting +Domain $y etc The whole of the order/invoicing system really needs a complete overhaul - but since no-one is interested in helping to develop the phpCOIN code ................ it will probably be some time before I can find any time to start on this !! -------------------- ***** Unless otherwise stated, all replies refer to the following *****
==================================================================== --- The latest unmodified version of phpCOIN available from the phpCOIN download page on the date and time of this post. --- All relevant HotFix files applied - One of the four included unmodified themes - The original language files . --- Help will be given to install/configure/use phpCOIN, but not programming help to modify phpCOIN operations. If you are competent enough to make programming changes, you should be competent enough to read the source code and figure things out :) |
