I told my new phpcoin system this previously existing client has an order which is monthly recurring and came due last month. It only shows a one month balance.... this client owes for last month and this month too because he didn't pay for last month yet. How come the balance doesn't reflect 2 months due?

Account balances are calculated from Invoices, not Orders.

If you have 2 unpaid invoices for that client, the balance should be correct.

There's a matching invoice that says "recurring" with no payment. So shouldn't they owe 2 monthly totals now? I have to make new invoice for each client every month by hand?

If you have an invoice that is :

Recurring = Yes
Recurring Processed = No
AND the Billing Cycle is set to what you are expecting
AND your parameters subgroup=invoices are set up and everything coincides with the dates you expect
AND you have set up a suitable cron job to run ~/coin_cron/invoices.php ONCE a day . (see http://docs.phpcoin.com/index.php/Cron ) .........

.......the system will generate a new invoice smile.gif

(You can also trigger the actions manually from the "Invoices" page by using the "Actions" drop-down menu )
